Born in England, Matthew Woolf is a world traveled Director of Photography. He has been shooting commercials, music videos, documentaries and films internationally since 1995.
Inspired by the magic of cinema as a child, Matthew has a passion for bringing stories to life through collaboration and hard work, with the goal to create moving images with emotional impact. As comfortable shooting on 35mm as in HD and other formats, Matthew has lensed multi-award winning films such as Courting Condi, The Inbetweeners, and The Crimson Mask, as well as high profile TV shows including MTV's The City.
Matthew's works have been featured in cinematography publications including ICG and Arri News, and garnered him multiple cinematography awards, including a Gold Addy.
Today, A dual citizen of both the US and the UK, he continues to travel the world working to create beautiful images.
